Rameez Esat
I’m Rameez Esat, 21. I grew up between South Africa and Zimbabwe and moved to Australia with a simple aim: build something worth sharing. I found that in coffee.
What grabbed me wasn’t hype or latte art—it was the everyday usefulness of a good cup. Coffee makes focus easier, conversations smoother, and small moments better. The Limpopo Project is my way of putting that within reach.
We keep it simple: source well, roast with intent, and make brewing clear and accessible. No gatekeeping, no jargon for the sake of it. Just honest coffee that tastes great at home or at work.
This isn’t about chasing a “specialty” badge for the wall. It’s about access, consistency, and respect for the people who grow and drink the coffee. If we can make your morning easier and your meetings less awkward, we’re doing our job.
The Limpopo Project exists to share coffee in a straightforward way—nothing dramatic, just useful, excellent cups.

Zubair Hassam
I’m Zubair. I grew up in South Africa and moved to Australia at 18. Coffee pulled me in the way good puzzles do—I love tasting different origins and figuring out why a cup feels balanced, bright, or just right.
The Limpopo Project is my place to make that experience simple for other people. I care about tidy systems and clear design—not to show off, but so the good parts of coffee are easy to reach. Menus that make sense. Ordering that just works. Packaging that tells you what you need to know, then gets out of the way.
Founding the Limpopo Project felt like the straightest path to my dream: a brand that quietly does things right and opens the door for more people to enjoy better coffee, every day. Brand and expansion matter because they’re how more people get a seat at the table—consistent quality, familiar touchpoints, and the same calm, confident cup whether you’re new here or here for the third time this week.
It’s a straightforward promise: make great coffee easy to enjoy, and keep it honest.
