Why we love it

Pacamara is one of El Salvador’s most celebrated coffee varieties, known for producing large beans and beautifully layered cups. The natural process brings out its deeper fruit sweetness and creamy texture, giving you something expressive and distinctive without becoming overly fermented or heavy. It is vibrant enough for filter brewing, yet rich and rounded enough to make an excellent espresso.

Tasting notes

  • Aroma: Ripe berries, stone fruit and a soft floral lift.

  • Body: Full and creamy, with a smooth, lingering finish.

  • Flavour: Strawberry and red plum up front, followed by tropical fruit, milk chocolate and a gentle wine-like complexity.

  • Sweetness: High and rounded, reminiscent of berry jam and brown sugar.

  • Acidity: Juicy and balanced, leaning toward ripe stone fruit and red berries rather than sharp citrus.

Process information

Natural. The coffee cherries are dried with the fruit intact, allowing the beans to absorb more of the fruit’s sugars and aromatic character. Combined with the large Pacamara variety, this creates a cup that is bold and fruit-forward while remaining smooth and structured.
